Anyone regret moving to Salinas?

Hello, I'm a 26-year-old project manager and With a population of 162K, Salinas is a mid-size city. Poverty rate is 11.6%, which is around average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 162K people. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

We moved here with our family and it was the best decision I ever made. Schools in Oak Park area are decent. Kids love it here.

As someone who grew up here, it's been a really good experience overall. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much pricey but now it's pretty good.
