Most overrated things about Salisbury

I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $56,402 in Salisbury. Poverty rate is 14.8%, which is around average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Miami and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Pine Hills. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: hit or miss. Tons of options if you like Thai.

Good luck with whatever you decide..
