Worst things about Salisbury nobody talks about

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 1 months ago and Rent is about $1,247/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $217,500, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $56,402 in Salisbury. The unemployment rate is 6.8%, which is concerning. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Worth the trade-offs? The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is community vibe. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.
