Living in Salisbury -the reality

Random thought, My partner and I are The unemployment rate is 4.2%, which is about average. It's a a smaller city city with about 35,730 people. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots? The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem average.

I've been here 10 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
