Most overrated things about Salisbury

Hey folks, Median household income is $173,808, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 13,388 people. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Nashville, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The cost of living scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Hope this helps!.
