Commute times in Sallisaw -how bad?

I'm single, late 30s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Sallisaw sits at 321.8 per 100K. Household incomes average around $47,333 in Sallisaw. The weather takes some getting used to. Any advice would be great.

My experience has been mostly positive. it's been a really good experience overall. The only thing I'd watch out for is public transit. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Houston and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Midtown. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in government. If you're in construction you might struggle.

People: Generally underrated. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.
