There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are pricey. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Minneapolis about 8 years ago. The main reasons were weather and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Active local events and festivals
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Chain restaurants dominate
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are manageable, gas is tough.

Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Feel free to reach out with questions..
