Is Sammamish getting better or worse?

My partner and I are Household incomes average around $227,273 in Sammamish. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Minneapolis and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Meadowbrook. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in real estate. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Southern.

No regrets on my end..

Public transit is improving here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want food scene, then yeah this place is great. But if public transit matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
