Curious what people think. Median household income is $64,146, which feels about average for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Atlanta about 10 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are wild, gas is improving.

Socially, I love the pace of life here. Happy to answer more specific questions..

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, Feel free to reach out with questions..
