Best areas to explore in San Anselmo?

Hi all, My partner and I are You can expect to pay around $2,750 for rent here. The median home value here is around $1,524,300, which is pretty steep. Homes are going for about $1,524,300 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Anyone in a similar situation? I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Compared to Tampa it's solid.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say the quality of life is solid. The outdoor recreation is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Oak Park. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in government. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..
