First time home buyer in San Anselmo

Been meaning to ask this. Rent is about $2,750/month for a decent place. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. What are your go-to spots?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Tampa about 2 years ago. The main reasons were a fresh start and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is average.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. No regrets on my end..
