There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Bought a house here in 2016 and I genuinely enjoy living here. Property values have gone down slightly since then.
