Rent in San Antonio getting crazy

I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $219,700 on average. With a population of 1.5M, San Antonio is a major city. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
