San Antonio vs Sacramento — which is better?

Hey, Rent is about $1,258/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $219,700, which is actually reasonable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Internet is better than expected in most areas.

I'm a project manager and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in South. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in construction. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
