Best areas to explore in San Buenaventura (Ventura)?

I'm a teacher here and With a population of 110K, San Buenaventura (Ventura) is a mid-size city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much affordable but now it's average.

I work in real estate here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is improving. No regrets on my end..

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Sunset area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.

Weather-wise, the summers are better than expected and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Definitely worth checking out..
