Is it worth buying in San Carlos Park?

Random thought, I work in energy and Average temperature is around 76--F, so it's warm year-round. Homes are going for about $284,900 on average. Median household income is $80,109, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $1,571/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Close to nature
- Easy commute
- Strong sense of community

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Few job opportunities in some fields
- Boring for young people
The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

I've been living here for 4 years and I'd say I genuinely enjoy living here. The school system is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
