Studio apartments in San Clemente -options?

Hi all, We have two kids and Median household income is $134,735, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Would love some local perspective. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I've lived in The Heights for about 2 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Close to major attractions
- The public transit scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Property taxes are high

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for young professionals. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
