Working in San Clemente -salaries realistic?

Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The median home value here is around $1,220,500, which is pretty steep. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thanks! Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

The food scene here is solid. Tons of great Asian places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 12 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's established and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the housing market is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is underrated.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Westside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

I've lived in Lakewood for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Active local events and festivals
- The healthcare scene is tough

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
