Random thought, We're a young couple and Median household income is $104,321, which feels pretty solid for the area. The unemployment rate is 3.8%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Is this normal for San Diego? The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
