First post here. I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider — San Francisco sits at 669.6 per 100K. Rent is about $2,419/month for a decent place. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
