Honest thoughts on life in San Jacinto

Hi all, I work in government and Crime rate is something to consider -San Jacinto sits at 218.4 per 100K. Household incomes average around $78,281 in San Jacinto. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What would you do?

I'm a real estate agent and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. The community is improving and there's always something going on.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Midtown. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in government. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally excellent. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: tough. Tons of options if you like Korean.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
