Not sure if this has been asked before, but Military spouse here. With a population of 88,531, San Leandro is a smaller city. Crime rate is something to consider -San Leandro sits at 502.8 per 100K. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Am I wrong here? Looking forward to hearing from you all.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. healthcare used to be much reasonable but now it's better than expected.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 9 years here, that's my honest assessment.
