Biggest downsides of living in San Lorenzo?

Hey folks, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $110,495, which feels pretty solid for the area. With a population of 29,453, San Lorenzo is a smaller city. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a teacher who relocated here from Atlanta about 2 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Property taxes are high

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are manageable, gas is better than expected.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I have mixed feelings honestly.
