OK so Average temperature is around 60--F, so the weather is moderate. Household incomes average around $110,495 in San Lorenzo. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cheers. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The community vibe is underrated compared to other places I've lived. Overall It's not for everyone but it works for us..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's surprisingly good for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in legal. If you're in government you might struggle.
People: Generally tough. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like sushi.
Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if traffic matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I'm still on the fence after all this time. The school system is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in North for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Lots of new development happening
- The cultural scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Winters are long and cold
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for retirees. No regrets on my end..

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
