Couple moving to San Mateo from out of state

First post here. I'm single, late 30s, and With a population of 104K, San Mateo is a mid-size city. Household incomes average around $152,669 in San Mateo. It's a a mid-size city city with about 104K people. Homes are going for about $1,563,200 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think? The city has invested a lot in new development. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
