Quick question about San Mateo

My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a mid-size city city with about 104K people. Homes are going for about $1,563,200 on average. With a population of 104K, San Mateo is a mid-size city. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Should I be concerned? Looking forward to hearing from you all. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
