It's a a smaller city city with about 31,771 people. Crime rate is something to consider -San Pablo sits at 619.1 per 100K. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are underrated, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Came here for work and stayed because it's not perfect but it works for me. The dating scene is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
