Hi all, Median household income is $109,317, which feels pretty solid for the area. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Thoughts? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is housing market. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Houston about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Close to major attractions
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is solid.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. nightlife used to be much wild but now it's challenging.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I love the pace of life here. Internet is improving in most areas.
