Best apartments in San Ramon under ?

So, Been living here since 2009. Household incomes average around $197,358 in San Ramon. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is weather. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Sunset for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from New York, I was surprised by housing market. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Lots of new development happening
- The walkability scene is decent

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'm a lawyer and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is solid and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 11 years ago. The main reasons were work and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Decent public transit for the size
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. No regrets on my end..

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a teacher, 53, moved here 11 years ago from Atlanta. I've lived in North and Fairview, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Growing food and restaurant scene
2. Good schools in most areas
3. Good internet infrastructure
4. The people are generally challenging - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Winters are long and cold
2. Rising rent and home prices
3. The cultural scene situation is manageable and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- North: Great for remote workers. surprisingly good vibes, walkable.
- Fairview: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Atlanta, everything felt solid. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are affordable. Gas is reasonable. You can live comfortably on $50K-$110K here.

**Final verdict:**
Hope this helps!. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a chef who relocated here from Portland about 9 years ago. The main reasons were school and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is pretty good.

Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
