Things San Ramon needs to improve

Random thought, Rent is about $2,916/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -San Ramon sits at 75.9 per 100K. Household incomes average around $197,358 in San Ramon. Poverty rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Appreciate any input. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value dating scene, you'll love it. The cost of living is genuinely decent and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. My neighborhood (East) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Atlanta, be prepared for the culture shock. cultural scene is completely different here. And Traffic during rush hour is rough.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
