San Sebastián zona urbana housing prices -when will it stop?

First post here. The median home value here is around $110,300, which is actually reasonable. Household incomes average around $20,112 in San Sebasti--n zona urbana. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What do you all think? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Baltimore and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Older homes are where the value is. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Westside. It's pretty good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like Italian.

Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in Westside for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by dating scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Active local events and festivals
- Close to major attractions
- The outdoor recreation scene is average

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I work in finance here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is pretty good. Feel free to reach out with questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a nurse who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 15 years ago. The main reasons were family and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Road conditions need improvement

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is average.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I genuinely enjoy living here. Internet is decent in most areas.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.
