Top 5 things I love about Sand Springs

Random thought, Been living here since 2011. Rent is about $1,016/month for a decent place. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Does this match your experience? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Springfield. It's decent for what you get.

Jobs: The market is competitive right now, especially in tech. If you're in finance you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like BBQ.
