Is Sandersville still affordable?

Anyone else feel this way? My family moved here when I was a kid. The median home value here is around $128,100, which is actually reasonable. Median household income is $44,724, which feels on the lower side for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Would love some local perspective.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

I work in finance here and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The job market for my field is challenging. No regrets on my end..
