Best industries in Sandston right now

Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 6.5%, which is pretty low. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Has anyone dealt with this? The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I've been living here for 10 years and I'd say I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Eastside area are better than expected. Kids love it here.

I've lived in Westside for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Affordable housing options
- The pet-friendliness scene is improving

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
