Raising a family in Sanford -thoughts?

Hi all, I work in consulting and Homes are going for about $272,900 on average. Household incomes average around $62,877 in Sanford. Poverty rate is 11.1%, which is around average. Median household income is $62,877, which feels about average for the area. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Pros:
- Growing food scene
- Low crime in most areas
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Limited public transit
- Hot summers
- Limited nightlife
- Limited dining options
- Poor road conditions
What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cheers. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit is average here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.
