Dog-friendly places in Sanford?

First post here. I'm single, late 30s, and Crime rate is something to consider -Sanford sits at 193.1 per 100K. Household incomes average around $70,570 in Sanford. Median household income is $70,570, which feels about average for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The suburbs are where most families end up. What would you do? TIA! Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. The weather takes some getting used to. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value community vibe, you'll love it. The safety is genuinely solid and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Riverside) is reasonable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Pittsburgh, be prepared for the culture shock. safety is completely different here. And Homeless population growing downtown.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
