Best areas to explore in Santa Ana?

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and Rent is about $1,975/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $657,800, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $88,354 in Santa Ana. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Charlotte about 9 years ago. The main reasons were work and weather.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Far from beaches/mountains

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are pricey, gas is average.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Hope this helps!.
