I'm originally from Albuquerque and The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Am I wrong here? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 2 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's hit or miss for what you get.
Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in engineering. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally solid. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Korean.
