I'm single, late 50s, and Homes are going for about $1,466,400 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is cost of living. Other than that, Good luck with whatever you decide..

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I'm a project manager and I've found I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The community is solid and there's always something going on.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to San Diego it's underrated.

Weather-wise, the summers are decent and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a project manager who relocated here from Phoenix about 9 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a job opportunity.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good schools in most areas
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good internet infrastructure
Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it average compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is underrated.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
