Couple moving to Santa Barbara from out of state

First post here. I'm a 36-year-old teacher and The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. What are your go-to spots?

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. school system used to be much manageable but now it's hit or miss.
