Hey, Been living here since 2009. The median home value here is around $509,600, which is pretty steep. Median household income is $93,083, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Any help is appreciated.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Austin it's excellent.

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.
I've been in Greenfield for 13 years. Moved from Minneapolis for work. Here's my honest, detailed take:
**Housing:**
The market right now is hit or miss. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth down slightly than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals.
**Employment:**
hospitality is strong here. retail is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are growing for the area.
**Quality of Life:**
the quality of life is solid. The outdoor scene is average - we have state parks within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.
**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Greenfield schools are solid. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.
**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Winters are long and cold. Urban sprawl is real. And school system can be frustrating.
**Bottom line:**
For remote workers, I'd say this is a 6/10. Hope this helps!. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

I'm a real estate agent and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is decent and there's always something going on.
