What's it really like living in Santa Fe?

Hi all, We're a young couple and It's a a smaller city city with about 88,224 people. Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Am I wrong here? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

As someone who grew up here, it's exactly what I was looking for. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much stable but now it's solid.

Hot take but it's not perfect but it works for me. I know a lot of people disagree but after 13 years here, that's my honest assessment.
