Santa Fe quality of life -am I missing something?

Hey, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 71--F, so it's warm year-round. It's a a small town city with about 12,828 people. Poverty rate is 5.5%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 4.7%, which is about average. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
