Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 110K, Santa Maria is a mid-size city. Homes are going for about $478,200 on average. It's a a mid-size city city with about 110K people. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
