Been meaning to ask this. Been living here since 2009. Rent is about $2,338/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
