How are the schools in Santa Paula?

Hello, Military spouse here. With a population of 31,202, Santa Paula is a smaller city. Average temperature is around 63--F, so the weather is moderate. It's a a smaller city city with about 31,202 people. The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

I've lived in East for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Active local events and festivals
- The cost of living scene is challenging

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
