OK so The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $97,410 in Santa Rosa. It's a a mid-size city city with about 177K people. Homes are going for about $685,000 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think? Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
