OK so The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $97,410 in Santa Rosa. It's a a mid-size city city with about 177K people. Homes are going for about $685,000 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The city has invested a lot in new development. What do you all think? Any help is appreciated. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
