Best apartments in Santee under ?

Anyone else feel this way? You can expect to pay around $2,197 for rent here. Rent is about $2,197/month for a decent place. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

As someone who grew up here, I have mixed feelings honestly. A lot has changed in the past few years though. walkability used to be much competitive but now it's improving.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from San Diego about 4 years ago. The main reasons were quality of life and quality of life.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are manageable, gas is hit or miss.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Chicago about 1 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Decent public transit for the size
- Lots of new development happening

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Not very walkable outside downtown

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are reasonable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..
