Dog-friendly places in Santee?
Anyone else feel this way? I'm retired and The suburbs are where most families end up. What do you all think?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.
I've been here 14 years and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into fishing, this place is tough.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Midtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
