What Sappington does better than anywhere else

Hey, I've been here for 11 years and Rent is about $1,188/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $72,213, which feels about average for the area. The median home value here is around $284,700, which seems about average. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Pros:
- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events
- Good airport connections

Cons:
- Rising rent prices
- Limited nightlife
- Not very walkable
- Lack of diversity
- Far from major airports
Thoughts? The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much wild but now it's average.
